The fishery was very busy over the weekend. The good weather brought many anglers out. Unfortunately few anglers logged their catch into the office, but there were quite a few anglers stuck in fish while I was there. Thomas Ryan had two carp, both commons weighing 8 and 6 lb. The silver fish were quite co-operative with many kids catching a few close in to the bank.
On the fly lake, lures and tadpoles seemed to be working better than the buzzers in the bright sunshine although there were fish feeding at the surface they were not interested in dries or flies fished in the surface layers.
